Lysol

It is time once again to drag out the can of Lysol!! This weekend Korie was complaining of her stomach hurting but it never went any further than that. I woke up at 5am yesterday with stomach cramps and it all went downhill from there- needless to say I did not make it to work.

Daycare called at 2:30 today and Logan now has the stomach flu. He went through 3 outfits(and a pair of shoes???) before coming home and soaking up another pair of pants. Guess I get to be the lucky one to stay home tomorrow with him.

NOT Again...

YES- Logan is once again sick! Saturday he started with the chest rattle and coughing and by last night it was really bad. He was wheezing and had labored breathing all night long. Nic and I debated all evening if we should take Logan to the ER so I finally had Dr. Wochner paged to get his opinion. We opted to not go to the ER unless he got worse throughout the night. It was a LONG night- no sleep for mommy!!

I called the Dr. first thing this morning and we couldn't get in till 2:30pm. Luckily little man took a nice long nap(of course I took me a snooze as well) so he was in a better mood for the Dr.

Logan had a breathing treatment while at the Dr. and was put on 3 different meds. so that takes us to a total of 5 medicines we are giving him. Good thing he doesn't mind it! I am just glad he doesn't have pneumonia and hopefully we will be on the road to recovery with another day away from daycare.

Face mask

My son has to be the most accident prone child I know! He has a scar on his cheek where he was bit and unfortunately it is not going away very well. Before I left to go out of town for the week he fell on his xylophone and cut his face and gave himself a black eye. I came home last night and he now has fallen by mema's stairs and hit himself across the bridge of his nose, giving himself another very noticeable bump and bruise. For Easter he is getting a face mask...

Please pray for my childhood friend Pam French- my dad called me yesterday and told me she has to have brain surgery this week. She has been having severe migraine headaches and after many catscans they have found a fluid has been leaking into her brain.
She will be having surgery in Arizona with a top surgeon that specializes in this on Thursday. She will temporarily be paralyzed after the surgery. This is a very risky procedure so please pray with me that all will go well and she will return home healthy.

I'm still here...

YES- I'm still in the blogging world, I've just been really busy! I don't get home till after 6pm usually and by the time I fix dinner, give Logan a bath, and put him to bed I am exhausted. Thank goodness I have a wonderful husband who does most of the housework for me or I would be in a world of trouble. A few happenings with me:

1. My office is now located in Effingham so I don't have to drive to Champaign everyday now. Thank goodness! I started a new training class this week and forgot how much I enjoyed teaching the new mgmt. for the company.

2. My cousins from Texas are coming home this weekend with their new little boy- Stryker. I
can't wait to see you all and how Logan will be with him.

3. Logan is learning to hit and throw temper tantrums- I blame it all on daycare because I know
I was never like that as a kid (haha).

4. I leave in 2 weekends for Chicago again for a training seminar that I am helping coordinate. I
don't enjoy being away from home all week but thank goodness I have a great family that
helps out.

5. I went to see my mom's gravestone not too long ago- It brought back lots of grief but I am
now doing very well suprisingly. Amanda- I feel your pain, I lost my mom only 2 weeks
before you. Only difference you had to watch your mom be in pain for a very long time, mine
was only a matter of weeks. I still don't know which is worse.

I hope to post some updated pics soon, I just have to figure out how to download pics from our new camera.
